Invests in programs that empower young people through education, mentorship, leadership development, and life-enriching opportunities.
Supports organizations that help individuals and families secure safe housing and strengthen neighborhoods.
Provides resources to organizations that assist families experiencing hardship, crisis, or economic challenges.
Partners with nonprofits that enhance quality of life through outreach, education, advocacy, and local engagement.
Geographic scope
Central Virginia, including the Richmond metropolitan region and the surrounding counties where RMT-affiliated companies operate.
What the Foundation does not fund
- Organizations without 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal sponsor
- Individuals, rather than organizations
- Political campaigns or lobbying activity
- Religious organizations, for religious purposes
- National organizations with no Central Virginia presence
- Requests unrelated to the five focus areas above
